An antique RARE book titled Ragged Dick, which sounds wildly inappropriate by today’s standards but originally referred to a scrappy young character named Dick who lived a rather rough life. Time has given the title a completely different kind of humor. Earnest in its day, slightly scandalous now. A rare and entertaining piece of literary history that always gets a reaction on the shelf.
Each vintage treasure is hand selected by Tanner & Fletcher, & sometimes by Tanner’s mom, Adele.
