Emmeline Strapless Trellis Gown
The Emmeline strapless gown is floor-length and done in a crisp ivory silk shantung base with a layer of sheer silk organza. This silhouette features a heart shaped rushed bodice with a central seam down the middle. Each panel of the bodice is intricately ruched by hand then carefully sewn together to form a flattering fit. The organza layer has a hand gathered trellis of the same material applied to serve as structure for the delicate handmade silk flowers that appear to be growing up the dress. The flowers are made by hand in New York City's Garment District by artisans who have specialized in the craft of silk flowers for decades. The dress is completed with a built-in tulle petticoat under the skirt for just the right amount of volume along with an invisible zipper closure up the back.
