Vintage "Dress Trimmings" Wooden Box

A charming primitive wooden storage box with a sliding lid and original hand-painted lettering reading "Dress Trimmings." Once used to organize sewing notions, ribbons, lace, or other garment-making supplies, it features a rich weathered green painted finish, dovetail construction, and a porcelain pull. A wonderful piece of textile history that adds authentic character to a sewing room, craft space, or collection of early mercantile antiques.
