Vintage Majolica Cabbage Leaf Dish

A very old majolica dish shaped as a cabbage leaf and raised on small feet. The rich green glaze highlights the natural veining of the leaf, giving the surface wonderful texture and depth. Early pieces like this are admired for their detailed modeling and bold color. Beautiful for serving, though many collectors simply enjoy displaying it.
