Vintage New England House Painting (1952)
Origin: New Hampshire, USA
A charming 1952 folk art painting depicting a quintessential New England cottage surrounded by lush trees, a winding country road, and a pair of Adirondack chairs on the lawn. The wonderfully naive brushwork and saturated greens give the scene the feeling of a remembered summer rather than a perfectly rendered one. Framed in simple warm wood, it’s an especially sweet piece of mid-century Americana with all the quiet romance of an old New England backroad.
Each vintage treasure is hand selected by Tanner & Fletcher, & sometimes by Tanner’s mom, Adele.

Due to the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of our curations, all vintage and antique items are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit. We carefully inspect and photograph every piece to showcase its authentic vintage character.
Our collections celebrate the passage of time; as such, items may feature unique characteristics like gentle wear, patina, historical mending, or distinct flaws. While we do our best to disclose and document every detail, the evaluation of vintage condition is ultimately subjective. We view these markings not as defects, but as beautiful layers of history and a vital part of the item’s unique personality.
Please carefully review all photos and the item's description before completing your purchase.
