This is basically “The Talk” in book form. Written originally in 1897 but adapted here is the 1936 version of What a Boy Ought to Know from Self and Sex Series. The dedication reads, “For the boys who naturally ask questions about the origin of their birth and for parents who desire to answer them cleanly and truthfully”. Embossed on the front cover is “Purity and Truth”.
This preachy book describes the MANY consequences of masterbation including dizziness, destruction of the nervous system, the guilt that acoompanies it, pain in the back and even death. Wow! What a time! We find this to be a silly addition to any collection.
